Several Liverpool players have dropped hints about the team that could line up against Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds return to Anfield on Tuesday as they face the French club in the second leg of their Champions League last-16.

Liverpool go into the tie with a 1-0 lead from the first leg thanks to a Harvey Elliott strike at the Parc des Princes. The Reds only need to avoid defeat to PSG in the second leg at Anfield in order to book their place in the quarter-final, where they would face either Aston Villa or Club Brugge.

Arne Slot will already have an idea of which team he is going to name for Liverpool's clash against PSG. Hours ahead of kick-off, some members of the Reds squad have already dropped hints about who is expected to be in the starting line-up at Anfield.

It's become a common tradition for players to post pre-match graphics on their social media accounts on the day of a match. This is often an indication a player is set to be in the starting line-up, or at the very least on the bench.

Alexis Mac Allister, Darwin Nunez, Jarell Quansah, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai have all posted pre-match graphics on their Instagram accounts over the last 24 hours. This could be a hint that all five players may be in the Liverpool line-up to face PSG, but will only be known for sure when the team is confirmed on Tuesday evening.

Nunez and Szoboszlai were handed starts in Liverpool's win over Southampton in the Premier League at the weekend, although the latter was substituted at half-time. Mac Allister was named on the bench for the win over the Saints but was introduced at the half-time interval minutes before Nunez equalised in front of the Kop.

Quansah has often had to settle for cameo roles for Liverpool this season, and was an unused substitute in the win in Paris last week. Gravenberch has been a mainstay in midfield under Slot this term and played 81 minutes in the win over Southampton at the weekend.

Slot will have at least one decision to make when naming the Liverpool line-up to face PSG. Cody Gakpo has returned to training after missing the last two matches, but it remains to be seen if the Netherlands international will be deemed fit enough to be handed a start.
