Liverpool have been urged to splash their cash on Dean Huijsen after he was compared to a Rolls Royce.

The Bournemouth defender has been one of the Premier League's star performers this season, with several clubs reportedly eyeing a move for him during the summer.

Liverpool are said to be one of the teams chasing the 19-year-old as Virgil van Dijk's future at Anfield remains up in the air.



It's a massive ask to try and fill the shoes of Virgil van Dijk, but it's a good start.

The same report suggests that Bournemouth signed the teenager last year based on the promise of allowing him to showcase himself in the Premier League and are resigned to losing him.

Huijsen's current club are even said to have tipped him to go on to become one of the top three centre-backs in the world.
