Latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip including updates on Mohammed Kudus, Matthijs de Ligt, Murillo, Arne Slot, Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker and more
Welcome to the ECHO's live Liverpool transfer blog as we navigate Arne Slot's maiden summer as Reds boss.
Links with a number of potential targets have been made in recent weeks, with Anthony Gordon grabbing the headlines over the past week.
Liverpool held talks with Newcastle regarding the winger last week but it seems their interest was not overriding.
Meanwhile, the Reds have reportedly enquired about Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt amid speculation that Manchester United are in the market for his signature.
Any hopes of potentially landing Bayern teammate Joshua Kimmich have seemingly been boosted by the rumour that Fulham star Joao Palhinha is closing in on a move to Bavaria, and thereby edging the German out of the squad.
The Reds have also been connected with interest in West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia update
Liverpool may have to set a new transfer record if they want to land Georgia sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer.
Kvaratskhelia has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield, with his father even suggesting he surpasses the legendary Salah in terms of ability.
Speaking to Calcio Napoli 24, Kvaratskhelia's dad said: "It's a wonderful comparison because Salah is a great footballer who has done extraordinary things with Liverpool and Egypt.
"But we like Khvicha more.
For me, he is because I'm the father, but hearing it from others fills me with pride."
