Ryan Gravenberch's agent speaks

Jose Fortes, the agent of Ryan Gravenberch, has spoken to Marca and made some interesting statements towards both the past and future of Liverpool midfielder.

Reflecting on his formative years, he has revealed the 22-year-old's career could have turned out extremely differently.

"When Ryan was 16, Barca called us.



At Ajax, he was able to develop in a way that he possibly wouldn't have at Barca," was his first admission.

Based on form, Liverpool will hope Graverberch sticks around for a long, long time, though Fortes would go on to state: "He's good enough for Real Madrid.

We would love for him to play for them, but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money.

I know they've had their eye on him, but now it's impossible."
