Angelo Stiller release clause
Angelo Stiller has signed a new contract at Stuttgart, and Florian Plettenberg has confirmed there is a release clause included in the deal.
Stiller has been linked with Liverpool already this month, with TeamTalk suggesting that he was being viewed as an alternative to Martin Zubimendi.
There's no word on what the new release clause entails, but it might give Liverpool an easier route to the 23-year-old should their interest be genuine.

Arthur Melo on the move
A familiar face for Liverpool fans - no matter how much they'd probably like to forget about him.
Arthur Melo looks as though he might be on the move again, with Fabrizio Romano claiming Brazilian club Santos is in advanced talks to sign him on loan from Juventus.
The post from Romano even describes him as the 'former Liverpool midfielder' - while true, it still feels like a stretch for someone who played a grand total of 13 minutes for the club...

Leon Goretzka sale
Bayern Munich still wants to sell Leon Goretzka despite the midfielder having played a big part for the German side recently, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Goretzka's agent is said to have spoken to Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl back in November, when it was made clear that he has no future at the Allianz Arena.
Goretzka has been linked with Liverpool in the past.
Bajcetic though is said to have grown unhappy at his lack of game time in Austria, and wants to make another move.
And the 20-year-old looks as though he could be heading to Spain, having held talks with several clubs and deciding that Las Palmas is his best option.

Slot makes transfer promise
Arne Slot has seemingly confirmed Liverpool will not be doing any business before the January window closes - although he has promised some transfer activity in the summer.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Slot said:
Liverpool should always be competing for a league title, we should always be competing for the Champions League.
There's a reason for that - because we're happy with the squad.
But I do know we're definitely working on strengthening in the summer.

The striker has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this month, although it's unlikely we'll see him depart - for now.
It's said that Nunez is considered an important part of Arne Slot's squad for the remainder of the season, although it is noted that there will be a significant market for the 25-year-old if he's made available in the summer.

Now though, it's suggested that Hadj-Moussa is willing to snub Liverpool in order secure a move to Lille.

El Hadji Malick Diouf green light
Slavia Prague chairman Jaroslav Tvrdik has seemingly left the door open for Liverpool to make a move for El Hadji Malick Diouf, having admitted it would be impossible for Slavia to stand in the left-back's way if they did.
But Lyon has now fired manager Pierre Sage and his coaching staff following a five-game winless streak.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the club is now lining up former AC Milan boss Paulo Fonseca as its next manager, although it will be interesting to see how that decision impacts Cherki's future.
