According to Tutto Juve, the Dutch midfielder has decided he only want to move to Turin and has informed the club of his decision.

Liverpool 'makes move' for Teun Koopmeiners

Liverpool has already made a move for Teun Koopmeiners amid doubts over a transfer to Juventus, according to Calciomercato.

It's claimed that Juve doesn't want to pay the $66m (€60m) Atalanta has demanded for the midfielder's signature and are instead going after Celtic's Matt O'Riley, who has been identified by Atalanta as Koopmeiner's replacement.

That could open the door for Liverpool to go after Koopmeiners, with the Reds claimed to have already made a move, although it's unlikely they have offered the asking price either.

Contrary to earlier reports, Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims Liverpool won't have an easy task signing Goncalo Inacio.

Caught Offside has suggested Sporting CP could comprimise on the defender's $66m (€60m) release clause.

The latest report (via Sport Witness) though claims the Lisbon club still wants something around that figure, and would be more willing to sell Ousmane Diomande if they are going to lose a defender.

Nico Williams talks set to advance

Barcelona is prepared to advance with talks for Nico Williams this week, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Athletic Bilbao star, who has been linked with Liverpool, scored Spain's opener as they beat England in the Euro 2024 final last night.

Barca is now said to be ready to advance discussions with the player's camp, with his salary a key factor.

There is still some interest from Premier League clubs though.

As well as Goncalo Inacio, Caught Offside claims that Liverpool is ready to explore three other defenders if a deal for the Sporting CP defender doesn't materialize.
