Roberto Firmino staying put
Former Liverpool star Roberto Firmino looks as though he will be staying put for now, despite being linked with a move away from Saudi side Al-Ahli.
According to Florian Plettenberg, the Brazilian has no plans to move, and has not engaged in negotiations with any other clubs.
The situation will be reassessed in the summer though, although he is currently expected to see out his contract, which runs until 2026.

Rayan Cherki agreement
Rayan Cherki looks as though he could be on the move before the end of the window, although not to Liverpool.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund is working on reaching a verbal agreement with the Lyon star's camp.
One that has been sorted, Dortmund will enter negotiations with Lyon, which shouldn't prove to be much of an issue considering Cherki's €22.5m release clause.

Slot addresses Milos Kerkez question
Arne Slot wouldn't be drawn on whether Liverpool is interested in Milos Kerkez after getting an up-close view of the left-back yesterday.
The Liverpool boss was asked directly about Kerkez during his post-match press conference at the Vitality Stadium, but was in no mood to discuss any potential transfer:
I don't think I have to talk about players that we are interested in, let alone a player from Bournemouth.

Two clubs in Jayden Danns race
Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers are in a race to sign Jayden Danns on loan before Monday's transfer deadline, according to Football Insider.
A loan move for Danns has been suggested by Arne Slot already this month, although time is running out if the Reds hope to send the young striker out on a temporary move.
A late battle for his signature looks set to take place, with Sunderland and Blackburn aiming to add Danns - who has made four appearances for the Reds this season - to their ranks for the remainder of the campaign.

Xavi Simons interest
Liverpool is interested in signing Xavi Simons despite RB Leipzig having just wrapped up a permanent deal for the winger, according to Bild's Christian Falk.
Leipzig wrapped up the permanent signing of Simons last week from PSG, having taken him on loan for the past 18 months, but already his next move is being touted.
It's claimed that Leipzig is open to selling the 21-year-old in the summer, with Liverpool 'observing the situation'.
A fee in the region of $83m (£67m/€80m) could see them willing to negotiate.
