It's claimed that Newcastle has placed a $188m (£150m/€181m) price tag on the striker ahead of the January transfer window, with Arsenal and PSG also linked.

Saudi Pro League hand timely Salah boost

The Saudi Pro League looks to have handed Liverpool a boost in its hopes of keeping Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian has of course been linked with a move to the Middle East for some time now, and not doubt there will be more rumors to come in January.

But the Pro League has confirmed all 18 clubs in the competition have the mximum number of overseas players aged 21 and over allowed, meaning they would have to offload some of their stars if they want to sign Salah.

Milos Kerkez switches agents

Milos Kerkez has changed agents ahead of the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Bournemouth left-back has been linked with a move to Liverpool, although Romano suggests that Manchester United is in the driving seat for his signature.

In any case, the Hungarian has now joined Lian Sports ahead of 2025.

The agency, headed by Fali Ramidani, also has Federico Chiesa on its client list, meaning Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes will have already dealt with them.

Liverpool is still keen on signing Martin Zubimendi, although it could run into a familiar problem, according to Spanish outlet AS.

It's claimed that Zubimendi has been 'seduced' by the idea of moving to the Premier League, with both the Reds and Manchester City keen.

Real Madrid is also said to be in the running though, with Los Blancos seeing him as the long-term successor to Toni Kroos.

Omar Marmoush blow

Arsenal has contacted Eintracht Frankfurt about Omar Marmoush's availability as the Gunners may have stolen a march on Liverpool, according to Caught Offside.

It's claimed that Marmoush has not responded positively to recent contract negotiations with Frankfurt, who are still keen on tying him down to a new deal despite consistent transfer links.
