Clubs 'alerted' to Harvey Elliott

Borussia Dortmund and Brighton are among a host of clubs watching Harvey Elliott closely, according to Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old's lack of game time this season is said to have alerted a number of clubs from the Premier League and Bundesliga to his potential availability, either in this window or during the summer.

Elliott has struggled to force his way into Arne Slot's plans, having picked up an injury earlier in the season while Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch have formed a formidable midfield trio.

Jamie Gittens 'scouted'

Liverpool is interested in Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano claims that scouts from the Reds and Chelsea have been following his progress, with the 'big' Premier League clubs starting to make their moves.

Dortmund is said to be feeling like keeping hold of Gittens will be difficult in 2025, although a summer transfer is more likely than a January move.

Nunez set for Saudi move?

The Saudi Pro League is showing interest in Darwin Nunez, according to Anfield Watch.

It's claimed that a move is ready to be made for the Uruguay international, although it isn't clear where Nunez could end up, with no specific clubs mentioned.

It is suggested though that Nunez could be open to the idea, having not ruled out the possibility.

Zubimendi ruined another Liverpool transfer plan

According to Anfield Watch, Martin Zubimendi's rejection last summer prevented Tyler Morton from securing a move away from Anfield.

Liverpool was of course in the running for Zubimendi's signature, only to be denied when he opted to stay put at Real Sociedad.

That decision reportedly led to a move to Bayer Leverkusen falling through for Morton, with Liverpool not wanting to be left short in midfield, despite the Reds being willing to sanction the $22.4m (£18m/€21.7m) deal.

Alphonso Davies talks scheduled

Alphonso Davies is on the verge of extending his contract at Bayern Munich, according to Florian Plettenberg.

With the left-back's current deal set to expire at the end of the season, he has been touted as a potential option for Liverpool in some quarters, although it has always seemed like a bit of a stretch.

In any case, it looks as though Davies will be staying put, with talks between Bayern and his agent said to be scheduled this week, with the German giant want to enter the final stage now.

Jamal Musiala disagreement

There's seemingly a disagreement between Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich which could interest Liverpool.

According to Florian Plettenberg, there is a question over whether a new deal for the 21-year-old will include a release clause.

Luis Diaz has rejected the offer of a new contract from Liverpool, according to Mundo Deportivo.

It's claimed that the Colombia international feels the terms offered to him are not reflective of his standing in the team, raising fresh doubts over his future at Anfield.

Diaz's current deal runs until 2027, but he was linked with a move to Barcelona during the summer.

Liverpool is considering a move for Joshua Kimmich, according to Bild's Christian Falk.

The Bayern Munich star is a set to become a free agent in the summer, and could offer Arne Slot some versatility, with the 29-year-old able to play in either midfield or at right-back.

Kimmich though is said to be in talks with Bayern for a new contract, so we'll have to wait and see whether he extends his stay.

Arsenal is likely to revive its interest in Alexander Isak at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

The Newcastle striker is attracting a lot of interest at the moment amid his sensational run of form, with plenty of transfer speculation following him around.

Liverpool has been linked, although it's Arsenal that is perhaps being touted more, with Mikel Arteta's side showing a clear need for a new striker.

Nico Williams is open to a move to the Premier League, according to TBR Football.

It's claimed that the Athletic Bilbao star is ready to accept that a move to Barcelona will not be possible, with the Catalan club's financial situation still perilous as they struggle to register Dani Olmo.

That could open the door for Liverpool, with the Reds having been linked with Williams, although a move to Arsenal might be likelier, given the need for Mikel Arteta to upgrade his left side.
