Mohamed Salah and his long-running contract saga was officially put to an end on Friday morning as Liverpool announced the Egyptian had signed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 32-year-old's uncertain future at Anfield had been a subplot to a historic season at Anfield as Arne Slot's side closed in on a second Premier League title in five years.
However, the forward has now committed his future to the Reds for the next two years.
And reports claim that Virgil van Dijk is set to follow suit and will also pen a new two-year deal with the Reds in the not too distant future.
Elsewhere, the Reds are being linked with a busy summer as a host of names continue to be mooted with Merseyside moves.
Darwin Nunez continues to face an uncertain future and it was claimed that Arne Slot's side could be in the market to sign a new forward should the Uruguayan and Salah leave the club.
Hugo Ekitike, with 19 goals this season for Eintracht Frankfurt, has been dubbed 'one to watch'.
