Fabrizio Romano believes ‘there could be movement’ from Liverpool for the transfer of Lyon winger Rayan Cherki in the winter 2025 window.
But Romano feels Liverpool might target Cherki’s transfer as he has a gentleman’s agreement with Lyon’s owner John Textor to leave.
Textor agreed to sell Cherki for €22.5m (£19m) in either the winter 2025 market or summer 2025 window when the Lyon native signed a new contract until June 30, 2026 in September.
Liverpool are now considering advancing their interest to thwart the rival sides eying Cherki.
