Alisson seemingly faces an uncertain Liverpool future despite comitting his future to the club last summer(Image: Getty Images)
Liverpool reputedly could loan out Giorgi Mamardashvili again next season rather than compete with Alisson.
Mamardashvili is due to join the Reds this summer after the club agreed a deal with Valencia for the Georgian goalkeeper last year.
The 24-year-old seems set to leave the Spanish club belatedly once the season concludes.
However, it appears far from a foregone conclusion that Mamardashvili will be vying with Alisson for a starting spot in Arne Slot's side.

That is because another loan could be an option, especially with the Reds' head coach recently remarking he is the best goalkeeper in the world.

Regarding to future of Mamardashvili, Slot recently said: "I can say if you want to play for Liverpool, you have to accept that there is competition.
"In Liverpool, if you don't want to face competition, then it is not the best place to go to."
The Independent has suggested Liverpool could send Mamardashvili back to Mestalla for another season after acknowledging it is hard to imagine the goalkeeper being happy to be backup to Alisson.
The latter being on the bench is considered "impossible to envisage".
Another theory they propose is the summer signing moving to another club on loan, with Bournemouth named after reportedly being a possible destination last summer.
Premier League rules forbade such a deal from materialising then, but a move could seemingly happen for next season.
The Cherries currently have Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan this season.
However, Mamardashvili is an upgrade on the former Spain international, which may be welcome if the club qualifies for a UEFA competition this year.

Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has a long-standing relationship with the south coast club for playing and joining their recruitment team after retiring.
There are also suggestions the Reds want to sign their left-back Milos Kerkez, so allowing Bournemouth to have Mamardashvili on loan next season could help incentivise a deal for the Hungary international.
