Liverpool unlikely to sign in-form Bayern Munich star
Liverpool are unlikely to sign Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane at the end of the season, according to Bild.
The Merseyside giants are expected to enter the transfer market for a new marksman amid the struggles of Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.
Kane has a secret release clause to return to the Premier League this year, but Bild insist that he has no plans of considering an exit anytime soon.
The 31-year-old has been in exceptional form for Bayern this season. He has bagged 31 goals and provided 12 assists from 38 appearances to date.
Bayern are presently six points ahead of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Kane is on course to win his maiden silverware.
Kane may want to win several trophies with the Bavarian giants. We don't believe he will contemplate a return to the Premier League for a few years.
Liverpool will have to look elsewhere to bolster their frontline. The Reds are also monitoring the situation of Newcastle star Alexander Isak.
