Federico Chiesa is also nearing a return and Alisson Becker will start his first Premier League game since a hamstring injury suffered against Crystal Palace in October.

Fulham are without a number of key players, including captain Tom Cairney and Calvin Basse, who are both suspended while the latter's centre-back partner Joachim Andersen is injured along with Reiss Nelson and Harrison Reed.

Arsenal failed to gain ground on Liverpool this afternoon as they were held to a 0-0 by Everton at the Emirates.

Elsewhere, Newcastle thrashed Leicester City 4-0, while Ipswich claimed an important win over fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa, meanwhile, has just got underway at the City Ground in the day's late kick-off.
