If Liverpool win, does that make them the most successful club in England?
If Liverpool win the title today - it is easy to forget that it is still 'if' - does that make them the most successful club in England?
Well, the scarves hanging on the merchandise stalls around Anfield say it does. It is hard to argue against it. Liverpool and United will be level on 20 domestic titles.
Add in Liverpool's six European Cups and the debate's over. England's biggest club? That's another question.

Arne Slot - 'That was impressive'
Yeah, that was impressive, definitely.
We felt the support throughout the whole season and today even before the game, it was louder, more than normal.
And I think that is also normal but as I said, there is a job to do for us and it is nice that the players feel the support of the fans but we have to be ready for Tottenham because we play against Tottenham.

Cody Gakpo - 'To become hopefully a Premier League winner is every footballer’s dream'
This is the moment we all worked so hard for the whole year,
Obviously we lost the [Carabao Cup] final, we were out of the FA Cup, we got knocked out of the Champions League as well. They were moments where we were maybe not as good as we wanted to be.
But if we can win it at the weekend it’s an amazing season for all of us and something we can really build on in the future.
When you start football and you get knowledge about the leagues in Europe, I think everybody can agree that the Premier League is one of if not the best league in Europe and the world
To become hopefully a Premier League winner is every footballer’s dream at some point in life. That would be an amazing achievement.

Postecoglou used to be a Red
I'm an almost 60-year-old adult. I've gone past my boyhood crushes, so it's got no impact whatsoever.
I have great admiration for the football club.
Yes, I supported it when I was younger, but that was 50-odd years ago, so we've well and truly moved on since then.
You want to go there and compete against obviously a very good side - and compete well

Slot's matchday programme message - 'We should make the most of it'
The overriding message today is very simple – we have a job to do.
It is a job that everyone associated with Liverpool FC should be excited about because the possibilities it creates are there for all to see but, as with every other game we have played this season, hard work will be absolutely crucial.
So focusing on the job at hand is not just desirable, it is absolutely essential. On and off the pitch, our aim has to be to get as close as we possibly can to our A-game.
Reaching those standards will not be easy – it never is – but it needs to be the objective of everyone who is inside the stadium today.
So what we have now and in the remaining weeks of the season is a wonderful opportunity that we should grasp with both hands.

Ange Postecoglou - 'Block out the noise'
Within the football department we've tried to maintain a discipline about how we behave and keep the noise on the outside away from us,
We came back from Frankfurt on a high and everyone was buzzing, then it was another disappointing game in the week [a 2-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest] and that flips 180 degrees. From our perspective it's really important we cocoon ourselves from it.
It's not easy because as much as I can say to the players 'block out the noise', we all live in the outside world. If I could keep them locked up in here for the next month I'd be OK.
What you look at is the behaviour of the players; the way they are training, the way they are talking. For the most part they are handling it pretty well.

The captain's call - 'One more push'
One more push'
One more job to be done. One more big effort needed, from each and every one of us. One more.
All season long I have been speaking about the need to focus only on the next game, the next challenge.
That mindset has been so important for us as we have chased our goals. We deal with what’s there in front of us rather than getting carried away with the bigger picture, with the outside noise.
Sunday, of course, is going to be a little more difficult in that respect. Because while we are still going to be concentrating on the task in front of us, which is a tough game against Tottenham Hotspur, we also know what the day means for everyone associated with the club.
And, well, it means everything. To win the Premier League is special, however and wherever you do it.
But to do it at Anfield, in front of the most incredible supporters in the world? That’s something else entirely. It’s our dream, it’s your dream, and our aim on Sunday is to make sure that dream comes true.
