How to watch cup clash for free in UK

Not all UK fans will be aware, but tonight's match is on free-to-air TV, with ITV having secured the rights to show the game live.

Sky Sports, the competition's main UK broadcaster, reached an agreement with ITV last year for some matches to be shown on free-to-air TV, beginning in January 2025.

It was later confirmed that the first leg of the semi-final between Arsenal and Newcastle would be shown on ITV 1, while the second leg of Tottenham vs Liverpool would also be shown on ITV 1.



The agreement between Sky Sports and ITV runs until the end of the 2026-27 season.

During the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons, ITV will screen at least nine Carabao Cup matches in total, including: one tie from each of the first four rounds, one additional tie from either the third or fourth round, two quarter-final ties, one semi-final tie, and the final.
