Liverpool will be crowned Premier League champions should they avoid defeat at home to Tottenham this weekend.
The Reds moved one step closer to clinching a record-equalling 20th top-flight title after beating Leicester coupled with Arsenal’s midweek draw with Crystal Palace.
Given their superior goal difference to the Gunners - who have played a game more - Arne Slot’s side are effectively champions already.
Although, they just need a point against Spurs for it to be made official.
Tottenham, meanwhile, head to Anfield on the back of successive Premier League defeats against Wolves and Nottingham Forest.
Those results have raised the very serious prospect of a 17th-placed finish.
That said, the north London outfit will have one eye on next week’s Europa League semi-final first leg at home to Bodø/Glimt so they may prove to be the perfect opposition for the title-chasing Reds.
