Liverpool head into the weekend perhaps looking over their shoulders for the first time in weeks as they take on West Ham in the Premier League.

Defeat at Fulham last time out, having squeaked past Everton a few days earlier, coupled with a Champions League exit and a limp Carabao Cup final loss, has prompted suggestions that the Reds are running out of steam.

Should Arsenal - who will have one eye on their trip to Real Madrid next week - beat Brentford on Saturday night, the gap will be eight points.
