Jota starts, Alexander-Arnold returns
Diogo Jota makes his first Premier League start for Liverpool in four months as the leaders entertain Wolves at Anfield.
With Cody Gakpo struggling with a minor injury, Luis Diaz shuffles over to the left wing position as Jota gets the nod against his former club almost four months exactly since he limped out of a victory over Chelsea, back on October 20.
The Portugal international suffered an upper body problem when Chelsea defender Tosin Adaraiboiyo landed awkwardly on him inside the opening half hour of that 2-1 win and Jota has yet to start a game since in the league for Arne Slot's men.
Trent Alexander-Arnold returns to the side after returning as a second-half substitute in Wednesday's Merseyside derby draw with Everton.
The right-back is in the back four alongside Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson
Alexander-Arnold hadn't started the last two games having picked up a thigh injury in the victory at Bournemouth but was used off the bench in the final Merseyside derby at Goodison earlier this week.
Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Jota.
