Premier League football returns for Liverpool this week after almost a month without league action.
The Reds’ participation in the Carabao Cup final along with the international break means that their most recent Premier League game was back on March 8 as they came out as 3-1 winners over Southampton.

The league is back with a bang for Arne Slot’s side as they take on rivals Everton at Anfield.
The match could give them a chance move further clear at the top of the Premier League table.
As we move into April, attention also starts to turn to the summer transfer window with rumours of comings and goings already starting.

Liverpool may only have to pay around £21 million for a potential Trent Alexander-Arnold replacement, but could be dealt a blow due to another clause in the player’s contract.

The Spanish club’s sporting director David Cobeno has already revealed that clubs will have to pay his reported £21m release clause if they wish to buy him.

England captain Harry Kane has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Liverpool suggested by some pundits as a potential destination for the former Spurs man.
However, the striker has appeared to pour cold water on any potential move away from Bayern Munich in the summer.
When asked by ESPN if he would consider a return to the Premier League, he said: "I'm not sure.
I'm extremely happy here.
"I think we have a fantastic team, fantastic coaching staff and I just feel like whilst I feel like I'm in the best condition, I wanna play at the highest level possible, and this is as high as it gets.
"So I know a lot can change in football in a short space of time and things can happen, but ultimately my focus is here.

"I'm not thinking about any other league or any other team.
And with football, I like to just go the flow and at the moment the flow is here at Bayern Munich."
