Giorgi Mamardashvili's decision not to join Liverpool this year has been vindicated after he suggested Alisson would limit his first-team football opportunities.
The current Reds shot-stopper has been in incredible form this season, saving 10 shots in his side's snatch-and-grab 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening, where he was named man of the match.
This begs the question, where will Mamardashvili fit in?
The Georgian shot-stopper signed for Liverpool in a deal worth an initial £25million in the summer transfer window but was immediately loaned out to his former club Valencia.
Mamardashvili told El Desmarque at the time: "I was attracted by Liverpool's project when the club's representatives met me to sign me.
I will fight for the starting goalkeeper position, even if the current goalkeeper does not leave the team."
Mamardashvili later admitted that he didn't join Liverpool immediately because of Alisson.
TalkSPORT reported that Torres asked Mamardashvili: "Why didn't you leave this year?" Mamardashvili simply replied: "Alisson." And it seems the Georgian was right to be wary of Alisson as it doesn't seem like his rival Liverpool star will be slowing down anytime soon.
Currently, Alisson's contract will see him remain at Anfield for at least another two years, as his deal expires in the summer of 2027.
Irish keeper Kelleher has been linked with a move away from Liverpool in the last few seasons, and it is likely Slot will plan a sale of the 26-year-old before his deal runs out in 2026.

However, if Alisson keeps this run of form going that could secure silverware for Liverpool this season, the Georgian may find it hard to unstick the Brazilian from his starting spot in the squad.
