Liverpool remains optimistic that Mohamed Salah will sign a new contract and remain at the club next season, according to a recent report.

Salah has repeatedly said this will be his final season at Liverpool, although many have taken that to mean as things currently stand he won’t be at the Reds for the 2025/26 campaign.

But according to The Athletic's David Ornstein, the most likely outcome as things stand is Salah staying at Anfield into next season.
