Liverpool star, Diogo Jota’s recent display against West Ham United on Sunday has raised questions over his starting position in lineup.
The Reds claimed a slender 2-1 victory over the Hammers on Sunday, but one player who had a tough time on the pitch was Portuguese striker Diogo Jota.
Jota has endured a disappointing campaign so far, struggling with injuries and poor form.
He was given the chance to start the match at Anfield, but the Portuguese international could not make the most out of the chance.

Against West Ham, Jota found it hard in front of the goal and struggled to create opportunities for those alongside him.
He also misplaced the ball on six separate occasions and had a pass completion percentage of 67%.
He has failed to impact in his recent appearances, and it only points to evidence that the Reds need to boost their attacking options especially in the center forward position.
Jota’s record this season has been ineffective; he has been unable to find the back of the net regularly, and his general contributions have also been poor.
The 28-year-old has scored only one goal in his previous ten appearances for club and country.
As the Reds get within touching distance of the Premier League title, Arne Slot may need to rotate for the no.9 role and give more chances to Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez.
Diogo Jota has been a wonderful player for Liverpool since switching from Wolves to make the move to Merseyside, it could appear that it may be time for the club to move him on in the summer as the club look to sign a new striker in the summer.
According to Caughtoffside, a period out of the spotlight might be good for him and could help him get back to his best while regaining his sharpness and confidence.
