It is understood the Reds midfielder has opted to move to the Poundland Bescot Stadium in order to get more game-time ahead of next summer's Euros
Missy Bo Kearns has left Liverpool
Missy Bo Kearns has joined Women's Super League (WSL) side Aston Villa in a shock transfer from Liverpool.
The Allerton-born midfielder joined the Reds' academy at the age of eight and made her senior debut in March 2019.
She has since made more than 100 appearances for her childhood club but has now joined Villa on a three-year deal.
The ECHO understands Kearns opted to make the move to the Poundland Bescot Stadium in a bid to get more minutes under her belt ahead of next summer's European Championship, with the Reds unable to guarantee her the regular game-time she desires.

The 23-year-old made just nine WSL starts last term, down from 17 starts in the previous campaign, with Matt Beard's side having bolstered their engine room with the additions of Fuka Nagano, Marie Hobinger and Sofie Lundgaard over the past two seasons.
Having been selected to feature in England's stand-by squad for their Euro qualifiers earlier this year, Kearns' decision to leave Merseyside is rooted in a desire to work her way into Sarina Wiegman's plans for next summer's tournament finals in Switzerland.

It is understood Kearns reported for pre-season last week, with Liverpool granting her permission to speak to Villa after Robert de Pauw's side had enquired about her availability.
She moves to the West Midlands for an undisclosed fee, however there is believed to be a sell-on clause in her Villa contract as well as clauses which will see the Reds receive more money should the midfielder hit certain targets during her time with the Villans.
She becomes the second midfielder to make the switch from Liverpool to Villa this summer, with Miri Taylor having joined the Birmingham-based club on a permanent deal earlier this summer.
