Some get into fashion, others dive into business, and a few even try their hand at acting.
But one thing that always seems to connect with players is music.

Whether it’s pre-match playlists, dressing-room speakers, or goal celebrations, music plays a huge role in the football world.
Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is no different.
Fans have embraced him not just for his talent on the ball but also for his passion.
The Colombian winger plays with flair, fights for every ball, and enjoys every moment.
When he scores, he dances.
It’s become a trademark, and the Anfield crowd loves it.
They even have a chant for him, something Diaz deeply appreciates.
“People in Liverpool have made me feel one of their own,” he told Sports Illustrated.
“They’ve given so much love, they even have a song for me, the way they sing is incredible.”
But while Liverpool fans love singing for Diaz, could he soon be making music of his own?
Luis Diaz hints at shock career change
In a recent interview, Diaz revealed that music isn’t just a passing interest for him, it’s something he genuinely enjoys.
In fact, he has already dipped his toes into the industry.
Back in June, he featured in a song with Colombian rapper Ryan Castro.
“They asked us if we wanted to participate or collaborate,” he said.
“Of course I said yes because I’ve always been attracted to music, I’ve always liked it.”
Diaz explained that the experience was quick but exciting.
“I think it was a couple of days before flying to the US for the Copa America, he came to the hotel with his team, set up a studio there, and in like 20 or 30 minutes we recorded our bit.”
“Just like that, very fast, we did our recording, and it came out really nicely.”
The song was released just two days later, and Diaz was impressed with how it all came together.
“We shot the video very quickly, in about an hour.
It was ‘bacano,’ it was very cool.”
“The song also performed really well, and we had a good tournament as well.”
So, could Diaz swap football boots for a microphone in the future?
“I don’t know, that’s a good question,” he said when asked about making his own music.
“I have a mini studio set up at home, a small piano.”
“But for now, I’m fully focused on what I want on the pitch, and we’ll see in the distant future maybe.
I do like music a lot.”
For now, Liverpool fans can breathe easy as it’s clear that Diaz’s focus remains on football.
But when his playing days are over, don’t be surprised if he finds a new stage to perform on.
