Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has made a huge claim about the winner of the UEFA Champions League tie between Liverpool and PSG.
The Reds take on the Ligue 1 giants at Anfield on Wednesday for the second leg of their round of 16 clash.
Liverpool go into this game with a narrow one-goal advantage after securing a smash-and-grab win in the first leg in Paris.
Arne Slot’s side faced over a dozen shots in the game at Parc des Princes, with Alisson Becker the Man of the Match after making ten saves.
Incidentally, Liverpool scored with their first and only shot on target.
Having won their last seven games at Anfield, they will be looking for another effective showing in front of goal against PSG on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the game, PSG boss Luis Enrique admitted he is still unsure of his starting XI for tomorrow’s game.
However, the Spanish coach made a wild promise about the eventual winner of the tie, claiming that whoever wins the match tomorrow will reach the final,
“I don’t think Arne Slot has doubts about my 11 tomorrow,” Enrique said.
“I have mine about his too?
I don’t pay too much attention to what is going on elsewhere, I won’t give too much away but over the two games, we will see two of Europe’s best playing; two contenders for the final, whoever wins tomorrow will go to the final, two different styles and two of the best.
“Giving away info just depends on people’s styles I guess.”
