Former Liverpool midfielder Luis Garcia is questioning why "no-one is talking" about one aspect of Mohamed Salah's form this season.

The Reds have dominated the Premier League this season, sweeping aside all challengers, including their fiercest rivals, Manchester United.



The Egyptian King has been the Premier League’s standout performer this season, contributing to an incredible 30 goals in just 18 games so far this season.

Salah’s record against the Red Devils is particularly impressive, as he statistically enjoys facing the Old Trafford club more than any other, registering 15 goals and six assists on his record across 16 career games against United.

Garcia has thrown his support behind Salah as a potential winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, a sentiment echoed by former United defender Rio Ferdinand.

“It’s not that bold but I would like to see Mo Salah winning the Ballon d’Or,” says Garcia

He hasn’t been in the conversations lately, we’ve been talking a lot about Rodri, about Vinicius Jnr and Lamine Yamal’s introduction as a possible Ballon d’Or winner and no one is talking about Mo Salah and what he’s been doing.

He has the chance of winning the Premier League, the Champions League and being one of the most important players in Europe.

“He’s one of the most in-form at the moment and I would like to see him lifting that trophy.”
