Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has not seen his 115 charges prediction come true with a final verdict yet to arrive.
During the late stages of 2024, a 12-week trial between the club and the Premier League took place over alleged financial breaches across a nine-year period.
In that time, Man City won numerous trophies and made some huge signings with that continuing in the most recent January transfer window.
As both sides of the case are deliberated over, City spent well over £100million to sign Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Nico Gonzalez.
City vehemently deny any financial wrongdoing with their winter window splurge seemingly a hint towards their innocence.
Even after what we have spent in this transfer window, we are away from Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Tottenham.
"Even from Liverpool.
The only reason why is we sell a lot in the last seasons but even with that I know this club, it is always ‘just about the money.'"
Guardiola's attempt at predicting an outcome has seemingly failed but it will almost definitely arrive soon.
Had Man City been on course to win their fifth Premier League title of the last six seasons, scrutiny would be high especially if they were found guilty.
