Liverpool are ready to battle Manchester City to sign Juventus fullback Andrea Cambiaso as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

After signing only Federico Chiesa from Juventus, Slot used the current season to assess the team he got from Klopp.

According to the Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, Liverpool are ready to challenge Man City to sign Cambiaso from Juventus next summer.

While Cambiaso could replace Alexander-Arnold, the 25-year-old is equally capable of playing at the left flank or centrally when required.

The 25-year-old is excellent on his feet, capable of playing any variety of role, which Slot seeks in his fullbacks

Cambiaso has made 38 appearances in all competitions for Juventus this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
