Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that star man Erling Haaland will miss his side's upcoming game against Everton this month.
However, moments before that tackle, the Norwegian had just netted his 30th goal of the season to draw City level after they fell behind to Evanilson's opener.
Last season's champions City had already released a statement - on Monday night - confirming that Haaland was facing a spell on the side-lines.
"So hopefully the end of the season and the Club World Cup, he will be ready."
Guardiola's side sit fifth in the Premier League table and still face a battle to qualify for next season's Champions League.
City face Leicester City and Manchester United this week before taking on Crystal Palace at the Etihad a week on Saturday.
The reigning Premier League champions then make their final trip to Goodison Park to meet Everton on Saturday, April 19.
By then, Guardiola is going to have to learn to adapt to life without Haaland, as he can't be replaced.
"We don't have another player with his skills or specific qualities," the City boss said.
