Manchester City will be without at least four players for Sunday’s Premier League meeting against Liverpool - and that number could be extended further if Erling Haaland is out through injury.

The striker sustained a knee injury in the latter stages of last week’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United that prevented him featuring in the midweek Champions League defeat against Real Madrid. 

Speaking on Friday, Pep Guardiola revealed Haaland is still a doubt for the game against Liverpool.

City will also be without John Stones for the Liverpool clash after he suffered a thigh injury and had to be replaced after just five minutes at the Bernabeu.
