United are looking to bolster their attack due to disappointing returns from Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The pair have managed just six Premier League goals between them season, with United languishing in 13th.
Here, Mirror Football has taken a look at four strikers that could be on the move this summer...

All three clubs are admirers of the Newcastle striker, but Isak is unlikely to leave St James' Park this summer.
Isak has developed into one of the best forwards in the world since joining Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022, netting 50 goals in 77 league appearances so far.
Isak is also Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan's favourite player and he has told the club to keep him.

Arsenal attempted to sign the RB Leipzig star last summer, but he ultimately ended up agreeing a contract extension instead.
Sesko remains on Arsenal's list of transfer targets ahead of this summer's window, while United, Liverpool and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the striker.
The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions so far this season and is said to be keen on a move.
The player previously admitted that Leipzig boss Marco Rose played a significant role in his decision to stay at the club, but he has been sacked and replaced by Thomas Tuchel's former assistant Zsolt Low in a move that could affect Sesko's future.
Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in Viktor Gyokeres(Image: PATRICIA DE MELO MOREIRA, AFP via Getty Images)
Arsenal are said to be stepping up their interest in Gyokeres, while former Sporting boss Ruben Amorim is thought to be keen on a reuinion with the striker at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in the world since moving to Portugal from Coventry in 2023, with the 26-year-old netting 85 goals in 92 appearances across all competitions for Sporting.
And Gyokeres has been open about his desire to play for "one of the best teams in Europe" soon, telling Marca in December: "My goal?
It is a very good and tough league, but it is clear that I have always wanted to play in some important league."
Frankfurt are ready to cash in on Hugo Ekitike(Image: AP)
The Eintracht Frankfurt striker is another who is on the radar of all three clubs, while Newcastle also view him as a potential replacement for Isak if he does leave Tyneside this summer.
However, Mirror Football understands that Frankfurt intend to play hardball in negotiations as Paris Saint-Germain have a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
Ekitike has scored 19 goals in 39 games across all competitions for Frankfurt this season and a move to the Premier League is considered likely.
And United could hold an edge over their rivals in the race for Ekitike's services as the 22-year-old was a boyhood Red Devils fan.
