Liverpool winger Luis Diaz continues to face speculation over his future at Anfield with frequent links with a move to Barcelona.

The Spanish giants are continuously mooted with interest in the Colombian after an impressive two years on Merseyside.

Interest from Spain isn't a surprise following numerous reports in recent years, as well as Liverpool winning the race to sign him from FC Porto after interest from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Diaz's father has spoken openly about his son's adulation for the Camp Nou club and last month, the ECHO reported that even some around the club's training ground have openly discussed the prospect of losing the 27-year-old this summer.

"The truth is that I know very little about Barcelona at the moment," Diaz snr told Win Sport back in November.

"It is true that Luis is a loyal Barcelona fan and it would be his dream to go there.

So far I would like to thank Porto and Liverpool for the way they welcomed him and received him.

"Luis is a player who finds it easy to win [fans] over because of the way he is, because of his humility, his work, his dedication.

There would be no problem if Luis came to Barcelona because it is a top team and one of the best in the world."

Despite Hansi Flick only taking over from Xavi, Barcelona have been frequently linked with attackers across Europe.
