Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Matheus Cunha could not believe that he was compared with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk for his performances this season.
With the Premier League returning next week, the West Midlands club sit nine points clear of Ipswich Town in the final relegation place and that is in no small part thanks to Cunha.
The Brazilian, who was on the scoresheet for his country during the international break, has scored 15 goals in 29 appearances for Wolves despite their lowly league position.
This has led to him being linked with a move to several top clubs in the summer, including Liverpool, who continue to be linked with a host of centre-forwards.

Ahead of the Premier League's return, the division's social media team shared the best performers this season based on the 'Sorare' analytics.
Their data found that Salah and Virgil van Dijk were in the top three best performers in the Premier League, with the former leading the way.
But sandwiched between the Liverpool duo was Cunha, who had an average score of 65, one better than Van Dijk and 12 worse off than Salah.
Clearly delighted with these statistics, the 25-year-old took to social media to share them and used the 'mind blown' emoji to express his surprise at being that high up the list.

Cunha was at the forefront of transfer rumours in January, and he will undoubtedly be there again in the summer whether Wolves survive relegation or not.
Speaking last month to BBC Sport's Football Focus, the striker insisted that he had not contemplated leaving Molineux in the winter.
"I never think about leaving, honestly," he expressed.
