Mia Carragher hit the headlines earlier this month.
Her phone call to her dad, Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher, interrupted his punditry on CBS Sports, where he offers analysis on Champions League matches to American viewers.
Clips of the show are often shared on CBS’ UK social media channels.
Host Kate Scott was interrupted during the broadcast on April 9 2025 by Carragher's phone ringing.
Carragher explained that Mia "wanted to know where her mum (Nicola) is" before resuming the conversation with his daughter by responding: "I don't know, I'm in London, babe, in a studio, I don't know."
Kate later asked Mia: “Your dad can be a little bit spiky on TV, shall we say; what's he like at home?" Mia answered by saying: "He's lovely."
After the studio fawned over her reply, Carragher added in a touching moment: "I love you more than anything, my girl.
As an 11-year-old in 2015, she appeared in the music video for Scouting for Girls single Life’s Too Short, a singalong love song.
She had already been in another video, for Amsterdam-based artist Jyra’s dance track Feelin’ Good.
Mia also featured in One Night In Istanbul in 2015, a comedy based on real-life exploits of Liverpool fans around the famous 2005 Champions League Final, which Carragher played in.

Mia also auditioned to be chosen to join Justin Bieber on stage during his Purpose tour in Manchester in October 2016.
She was chosen to perform a solo at the Broadway Dance Centre and a video of her performance quickly went viral, racking up almost 80,000 views, which led to her being discovered by Two Management.
Luc Brinker, president of Two Management and friend to models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, spotted the video on Instagram and immediately wanted to sign Mia to his agency.
Lindsay Inglesby, director of Rare Studio, said at the time: “We couldn’t be happier to see Mia signed to Two Management.
It’s a huge deal to achieve this at 13 and not only demonstrates her immense talent, but also the power of social media.
