Michael Owen has praised Mohamed Salah
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has praised Mohamed Salah for being successful at the 'hardest thing to do in football'.
The Reds No.11 took home another Player of the Match award as he starred in the 2-0 win over Manchester City over the weekend.
Liverpool claimed a 2-0 win in the Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium, with Salah on the score sheet alongside Dominik Szoboszlai.
Salah opened the scoring with his 30th goal in all competitions before providing the assist for Szoboszlai to take his tally up to 21 across the campaign.
Salah now has 51 goal contributions in all competitions this season, including 41 in the Premier League, and will be determined to help the Reds win the Premier League title.
Victory over City saw Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points, with second-placed Arsenal having a game in hand.

The performance from Salah at the Etihad earned plenty of praise from pundits, including the likes of Gary Neville, Daniel Sturridge, Micah Richards, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher.
Now Owen has followed suit by explaining the reasons why Salah is enjoying an "incredible" season at Liverpool.
"The consistency is unbelievable," he told Premier League Productions when asked about Salah's passing the 30-goal mark in a season for the fifth time in his Liverpool career.
But in terms of playing, it's just been year after year, a constant source of goals.
"You know that you're going to send him out there and he's virtually going to score in every game.

"It is quite incredible and we joke about it [but] it's the hardest thing in football, to score goals.
