Michael Owen has praised Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch for seizing his opportunity this season after the club missed out on signing Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad last summer.

Owen, who netted 158 goals in 297 appearances for the Reds, believes that Liverpool's squad dynamics put them in a strong position to avoid transfer errors.
