Premier League legends Martin Keown and Michael Owen were in agreement that Curtis Jones crossed the line during Wednesday night's dramatic Merseyside derby draw.
The Liverpool midfielder lost his cool after Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure taunted the visiting fans at Goodison Park following James Tarkowski's dramatic last-gasp equaliser, sparking a huge fracas which resulted in referee Michael Oliver issuing four red cards.
Doucoure's gesture of silencing the Liverpool fans led to Jones charging at him and grabbing his shirt collar, with players from both sides piling in.
Both Doucoure and Jones received their marching orders with second yellow cards in the fallout.

Arsenal great Keown remarked on Premier League Productions: "Curtis Jones overreacts, for me.
It's out of order." Owen, while placing more fault on Doucoure, conceded that Jones should have behaved differently, commenting: "Doucoure, you can't do that.
You can't condone Curtis Jones either."
