Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted the title race is out of their hands with the prospect of Liverpool moving 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Arsenal's problems continue to mount, meanwhile, with Myles Lewis-Skelly set for a ban following his red card for a professional foul on Mohammed Kudus, while talented youngster Ethan Nwaneri also limped off to compound the Gunners' injury worries.
Arteta admitted that he was left 'angry' following that defeat and with Liverpool taking on Manchester City in a Premier League showdown on Sunday afternoon, the battle for the summit is still out of the north London club's hands - as Arne Slot's men look to extend their cushion.
