Mikel Arteta has said he will keep fighting for the Premier League title until it is mathematically impossible for Arsenal to win.
The Gunners suffered a disappointing weekend as their loss against West Ham United, coupled with Liverpool’s victory over Manchester City, opened up an 11-point gap between the leaders and Arteta’s side.
Arsenal travels to third-place Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, a match that kicks-off 45 minutes before Liverpool’s clash against Newcastle United.
It could prove to be another crucial night in the Premier League title race and, with Arsenal having a game in hand and still having to face Liverpool before the end of the season, Arteta has not yet relinquished his side’s claim on the trophy.
