Milos Kerkez has been one of Bournemouth’s standout players this season.
The young left-back has caught the attention of top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool.
With Liverpool looking for defensive reinforcements, Kerkez has been a name linked to the club for months.
His performances have been impressive, and he showed his quality once again in Bournemouth’s recent game against Liverpool.
He went up directly against Mohamed Salah and held his own despite Liverpool winning 2-0.
Fans have also been keeping a close eye on his interactions off the pitch.
After the match, Kerkez was seen engaging with Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai on social media.
This only added fuel to the speculation about a potential move.
With all these transfer rumors swirling, Kerkez’s national team coach, Marco Rossi, has now spoken about the defender’s future.
Milos Kerkez coach confirms player’s transfer status
Rossi admitted that top clubs are closely watching Kerkez.
He said while speaking to Hungarian outlet CSAKFOCI,”As for Milos, he is playing very well.
Nobody predicted that Bournemouth would be in this position in the league.”
He confirmed that a transfer is possible, saying, “The English top teams are following him closely.
It is also possible that he will change, if not now, then at the end of the season.”
Rossi also highlighted Kerkez’s importance to the Hungary national team.
He stated, “He is a very important player for us.
We hope that he will succeed in developing in the national team, as he does in his club.”
Despite Rossi’s comments, a move to Liverpool is not guaranteed?
Kerkez himself recently told fans during a live stream that he would not be joining Liverpool.
However, with Liverpool’s interest and Rossi’s remarks, his future remains uncertain.
