AFC Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez appears to have poured cold water over suggestions that a transfer to Liverpool could be on the cards in the near future.
The Reds' current left-back Andy Robertson's contract is due to expire in 2026 and there is an expectation that Arne Slot and FSG should be planning for his replacement.
Kerkez has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season and his style of play would suit the Liverpool defence.
His existing relationship with international teammate and Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is also thought to be a driving factor behind the rumours linking the Hungarian with Anfield.
However, the 21-year-old has insisted in a recent interview with Nemzetisport that there is still a lot he wants to accomplish with Bournemouth.
"It wouldn’t look bad [working with Szoboszlai at Liverpool], that’s for sure," he explained.

"But it’s too early to talk about something like that.
I have big goals with Bournemouth, we still have a lot of games to win, that’s the most important thing right now."
Meanwhile, Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are the teams thought to hold an interest.
The Reds could be in need of a winger in the summer, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves at the end of his contract.
