Milos Kerkez's name has once again cropped up as a potential summer signing for Liverpool, with the Reds considering signing a new left-back at the end of the season
Andy Robertson has been Liverpool's first-choice left-back since moving to Anfield from Hull in 2017 but turned 30 last year and is enduring perhaps the most difficult season of his Reds career on an individual level.
The Times names Kerkez as a player that Liverpool is considering next summer as a result of his impressive performances for Bournemouth this season.
Kerkez underlined his quality during Bournemouth's thrilling Premier League meeting with Newcastle on Saturday, scoring the Cherries' fourth goal of the game in a 4-1 win.
With the points already in the bag, Kerkez sprinted up the pitch in injury time to collect the ball, before working himself half a yard of space with a step-over and drilling a shot across Martin Dubravka, into the far corner of the net.
There's next to no chance that Liverpool will swoop for Kerkez during the January transfer window, with a summer transfer far more likely
However, speaking after Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Manchester United earlier this month, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher urged the Reds to attempt to sign a left-back this month.
"The big worry for me now is Liverpool are starting to concede goals and chances," Carragher said
"I still think Liverpool are the best team in this league, they've got more goals in this team and attacking talent than Arsenal.
"If you're Arsenal watching that, the thing would give you a lift is that Liverpool didn't win and you're seeing Liverpool concede goals and chances
People say Arsenal need a to sign a goal scorer, Liverpool need to sign a full-back in January, a left-back.
"I think Andy Robertson - absolute legend, love him to bits - is just hanging on and Tsimikas isn't quite at the standard to come replace him
