Mohamed Salah has spoken about how his daughter Makka's desire to stay in Liverpool helped convince him to sign a new contract at Anfield.
Instead, though, he will remain to fight for more trophies after the current campaign, with Arne Slot's side on course for their second Premier League title.

"They feel at home," Salah told club media when detailing his family's reaction to his decision.
It is a big compliment to Richard Hughes because Mo Salah, as a free agent, can go to any club he wants to."

Salah was a key player for Liverpool when they ended a long wait for a Premier League title in 2020.
He finished that campaign as the Reds' top scorer, but celebrations were impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and another league win this term remains top of the forward's list of targets.
When asked why he wants another Premier League title so dearly, Salah said: "Probably because last time we didn’t celebrate it the way we wanted." With an 11-point gap to Arsenal and just seven games remaining, it would take an almighty collapse for the Reds to miss out this term.
"I think we owe that to the fans," he added.
"They deserve it, they deserve to enjoy it after that long time, with celebrating at Anfield and in the street and just enjoying ourselves winning the Premier League."
