Al-Hilal are looking to sign Real Madrid star Rodrygo and have already tabled a blockbuster offer for the player, despite claims the club are eyeing Mo Salah.

The Saudi Pro League side recently said goodbye to Brazil star Neymar following a failed stint in the division and have been linked with making a move for Salah.

However, Rodrygo appears to have become the latest target of the Middle Eastern league as they bid to make a huge signing before their transfer window shuts on Friday night.

Reports in Spain suggest that the proposal in question for the Brazil international is worth NINE figures and that the Saudi Pro League could utilise Rodrygo as the face of the 2034 World Cup to be held in the nation.

Salah has previously been the subject of bids from the Saudi Pro League, but saw the Reds rejected significant offers.

With the 32-year-old enjoying one of his better Liverpool seasons thus far, and potentially available for free come the summer, Salah remains an appealing prospect.

The Saudi Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal highlighted the impact Salah could have should he complete a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

He's, you know, he's Egyptian, and we have a very good relationship, and we feel like we are one with the Egyptians as well, from our culture and our history and so on.

"So to have Mo Salah or other players that are good role models would be, you know, a pleasure and a privilege to have in the Saudi League.
