Very few players in world football can rival the brilliance of Mohamed Salah.

With his previous contract due to end this summer and talks having stalled for some time, doubts were increasing about the potential he could leave.

Now, however, Liverpool fans and manager Arne Slot can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Salah - who has contributed to nearly half of all the team's goals this season - is staying put.



The 32-year-old will continue to boost his finances on Merseyside with his family in their north west home.

After a prolonged period of rumour and debate, Salah has officially committed to Liverpool for another two years.

With this extension, Salah's time at the club is now expected to span a full decade.
