It has been reported by Foot Mercato that Mohamed Salah is close to agreeing a new contract with Liverpool, which would put an end to months of speculation.
The report says Salah is on the verge of signing a two-year contract extension with Liverpool - with an agreement close to being reached between the player and the club.
Salah's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, at which point he would leave Liverpool as a free agent if both parties are unable to agree terms on a contract extension.
The ECHO understands that Kerkez is a player of interest to Liverpool but is not the only player on the club's shortlist as the summer transfer window approaches.
