Mohamed Salah insists there are no developments with regards to his Liverpool future, with just a matter of months remaining on his Anfield deal.

The Egyptian is on the brink of a record-breaking season and took his Premier League goal tally to 25 by finding the net against Manchester City last weekend.

“I want fans to remember that I gave it all to the fans, I gave it all to the city.



I was here, I wasn’t lazy, I just enjoyed my football and gave it all,” the Egyptian told TNT Sports and ex-Liverpool star Steve McManaman.

I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and I gave it all.”

McManaman then pushed Salah for an update on his future and asked if there had been any progress.

For now, he insists his focus remains on ending the season with silverware, with Liverpool 11 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table

It's not just about whether he finishes above those players, it's that he will maybe set the bar so high that in the future nobody can get there ever again
