Mohamed Salah has continued his surge up the Liverpool goal-scoring charts after tying Gordon Hodgson with a goal against Manchester City.

The Egyptian, 32, scored his 241st Liverpool goal, tying Hodgson, in the 13th minute at the Etihad, with Salah firing a strike into the far corner following a savvy corner-kick routine.



Salah, now third in Liverpool's all-time scoring charts, trailing only Roger Hunt and Ian Rush, reached the feat in 287 games for the Reds.
