The Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans tonight.

The Chiefs are seeking an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl title, and to secure it, they will need to beat the same team they started the run against.

Never before has a team won three Super Bowls in a row.



Eight teams have won back-to-back Super Bowls, but none before the Chiefs this year even made it back to the big game the following season.

A huge 120.25 million people watched Super Bowl 58 between the Chiefs and 49ers, and a similar number is expected to watch tonight’s showdown.

And you wouldn’t bet against a number of Liverpool players being among those who tune in.

As ever with the big sporting events, plenty of people have had their say on who will come out on top - and Liverpool’s players have been no different, with the club releasing a video earlier this week in which a number of Arne Slot’s side were asked to pick either a Chiefs or Eagles shirt as a way of revealing who they think will win.

Mohamed Salah kicked things off, and although he admitted that he expected the Chiefs to win, he selected the Eagles jersey.

But Luis Diaz and Wataru Endo believe it will be the Chiefs who will reign supreme once again.

The video then heads to Harvey Elliott, who is backing the Eagles, as is Curtis Jones.

But fellow midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai threw his backing behind the Chiefs making history.

The predictions round-up then concludes with Federico Chiesa, Ryan Gravenberch and Caoimhin Kelleher all picking the Chiefs.
